In the museums that are part of the Association of Museums of the city of Almaty, one of the most relevant topics for today – anti-corruption measures - were discussed. Speaking to the museum staff, compliance officer N. Tuzelbayev noted that corruption weakens citizens' trust in state institutions, which also negatively affects economic growth and stable development of the country.During the seminar, it was noted that in recent years a number of initiatives aimed at combating corruption have been implemented in Kazakhstan. The creation of the Anti-Corruption Agency was an important step in this area. In addition, the introduction of electronic systems for the provision of public services reduces the level of interaction between citizens and officials, which in turn reduces the growth of corruption.The issue of anti-corruption activities among young people was also considered. It is very important to develop educational programs aimed at improving citizens' understanding of the harm of corruption and the legal framework.In turn, N. Tuzelbayev stressed that Kazakhstan is actively working with international organizations in the field of combating corruption, which allows for the exchange of experience with other countries for further effective application in the fight against corruption.At the end of the seminar, answers were given to the questions of the museum staff on strengthening the anti-corruption culture and preventing corruption.Summing up the results of the seminar, compliance officer N.Tuzelbayev noted that it is necessary to counteract corruption in any case.
