On November 16, 2022, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the birth of A. Baitursynuly, the A. House-Museum was opened. Baitursynuly after the reexhibition and the monument to A. Baitursynuly, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayeva.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got acquainted with the exhibition of the “Ultty Rukhtyn Uly Tini”, “Kazakh Sanasynyn Shamshiragy” halls and Akhmet Baitursynov's office. In total, the museum has about 500 exhibits related to the life and work of the great figure.
Akhmet Baitursynov lived in this house together with his daughter Sholpan's family in 1934-1937. The museum was opened in 1998 as part of the anniversary celebrations dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the figure Alash.
During the reexhibition, the museum was equipped with modern technologies, filled with new content and acquired a new character. Special touch panels contain the history of the creation of the House-Museum, archival materials, photographs and valuable information that also provide great information about the reformer's life and career.
The restoration and reexhibition works were carried out by the RSE Kazrestavratsiya at the request of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Working hours of the House-Museum A. Baitursynuly:
- Tuesday-Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Monday is a cleaning day.
Entrance fee:
- Adult ticket — 500 tenge.
- Student card — 300 tenge.
- School ticket — 200 tenge.
- Pension ticket — 200 tenge.
- The cost of the tour is 500 tenge.
