Until midnight at the museum: Almaty Museum expands opening hours

Since February, the Almaty Museum has been switching to an updated work schedule. Now the museum will be open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 00:00, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to visit the museum not only during the day, but also in the evening. Monday is a sanitary day. The Almaty Museum is a large cultural center representing the entire spectrum of the historical and cultural heritage of the Zhetysu region. The museum's exhibition space unites 11 halls that consistently reflect the history of the city of Almaty - from ancient times to the present.The museum's collections contain ancient and modern exhibits of historical and cultural value. Among them are works of fine art, unique collections of Kazakh ethnography, household items from various eras and cultures, as well as archival photographs and documents revealing different stages of the development of the city and the region.The expansion of the work schedule is aimed at making the museum more accessible to a wide audience, including those who prefer to visit cultural spaces in the evening after work or study.The Museum of Almaty is located at 132 Kabanbai Batyr Street.
