In Almaty, in honor of the 31st anniversary of the death of Dinmukhamed Kunayev, flowers were laid at the bust of a statesman and public figure, three times Hero of Socialist Labor.

The event was attended by associates and followers, relatives and friends of Dinmukhamed Kunayev, members of the public, residents and visitors of the city.

“The memory of Dimash Akhmedovich is always alive; people remember his merits and achievements. This is evidenced by the release this year of books dedicated to the life and work of Dinmukhamed Kunayev,” said Eldar Kunayev, President of the D.A. Kunayev International Foundation.

At the end of the ceremony, participants were given an excursion to Dinmukhamed Kunayev's house-museum and memorial apartment. Among the exhibits was the Pontiac Grant Prix personal car, presented to Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich in 1992 and restored for another anniversary thanks to the support of sponsors.
