From December 6 to December 16, 2022 in Almaty hosted the Republican Symposium “New Kazakhstan. Update”.

The artistic search for famous artists from different regions of Kazakhstan took place in accordance with the format of a symposium in a studio open to debates. During the symposium, each participant created two works, and concepts were also proposed at the final discussion and the opening of the exhibition. The Symposium program included lectures, discussions and debates.

The organizers of the symposium are: The Association of Museums in Almaty of the Department of Culture of Almaty Almaty and the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a result of the symposium, a catalogue will be published and sent to participants by mail.
