Ykhlas Dukenuly is a great kobyzist of the Kazakh people, one of the brightest representatives of Kazakh national string music. A man whose personality is part of our spiritual history, who tuned the kobyz tool after the great Korkyt. It was the reason for the kobyz to sound clear and clear. At the age of 19, Ykhlas wrote his first composition and called it “Ykylas Kuyi”. He knew how to express his noblest thoughts in tones that were absorbed into the core of the mare's voice.
